Maxine Waters Goes Off The DEEP END If Impeachment Fails

The fact that the Democrats continue to let her make these insane statements proves that she isn’t joking!

Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) left a lot of jaws on the floor recently when she appeared on MSNBC’s “Weekends” and shockingly claimed that even if President Trump is acquitted in the Senate, House Democrats will continue to investigate President Trump and keep trying to impeach him even it’s under a new set of circumstances.

According to Breitbart, during an interview with MSNBC’s Alex Witt, Waters was asked, “What about if the president is ultimately acquitted by the Senate? Do you see the house potentially taking up other articles of impeachment against him? You are the chair of the Financial Services Committee. There has been plenty of talk of emoluments clause violations. Might those potentially be stronger than what we’ve seen here, could that be taken up?

Adding, “Let me just say this. All of us have the responsibility for oversight. Yes, I have subpoenaed documents from Deutsche bank. Yes, I am concerned about the financial affairs of the president of the United States, including money laundering. And I’m continuing with that. As a matter of fact, the subpoenas that I’ve issued that’s gone through the lower courts are now going to be heard at the Supreme Court in March. We will not stop. Whether or not that leads to another impeachment activity, I don’t know. But I know we must continue with the work that our constituents have elected us to come to Congress to do.”

It’s beginning to sound like Maxine already knows this impeachment push will turn out to be no more than a big fat nothingburger! However, this still won’t be a walk in the park for Senate Republicans.

Yesterday, Senator Lindsey Graham told Fox’s Chris Wallace that “The idea of dismissing the case early on is not going to happen. We don’t have the votes for that.”
